About

Welcome to my Blog!

Keeping you up to date on the latest studies regarding dark chocolate’s health effects.

My name is Fatma and I’m currently studying nutrition at Framingham State University.  I created this blog for my computer applications class. Before coming to America, I worked for many years as a dietitian in my home country of North Cyprus and obtained my MSc in clinical nutrition from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.  I’ve always had a passion for researching whether the foods that people believe are healthy are in fact healthy. This blog will give me a chance to find and share articles on the nutritional truths behind the foods we assume are good for us. I will focus on articles about dark chocolate’s health benefits because (1) I enjoy eating chocolate and want to make my project fun and (2)  I’ve been intrigued by chocolate manufacturers’ recent efforts to make more dark chocolate products and  label the cocoa content of their products. I will try and provide my findings in both English and Turkish (my native language).
